My background sits at the intersection of software engineering, application security, and AI security. I understand applications from both sides: how they are built and how they fail. That perspective now extends into AI-enabled systems, where traditional application-security concerns meet newer risks such as prompt injection, unsafe model behavior, sensitive-data leakage, and AI governance.

My path here has been cumulative rather than linear. I started in IT and compliance operations in Nigeria -- reviewing documentation, spotting anomalies, and working inside regulated processes at Mediasoft Technologies and ZionShine ICT. That work built the instinct security work depends on: noticing when something doesn't match what it should, and being able to document exactly why. I moved into software engineering next, then formalized a security direction with a Cyber Security diploma at Lighthouse Labs and a postgraduate diploma in Computer Application Development at Conestoga College. I hold an MSc in Cybersecurity and Threat Intelligence from the University of Guelph, where my research focused on AI/LLM security -- adaptive defense techniques and layered-defense architectures for LLM applications. Alongside AppSec and AI security, I've built AI governance and regulatory knowledge -- NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OECD AI Principles, EU AI Act -- through graduate coursework, a University of Guelph data privacy and security governance credential, and independent study.
